1. Comparative Adjectives

Comparative adjectives yaitu kata sifat yang dipakai untuk membandingkan dua objek benda. Bentuk dari comparative adjective yakni dengan menambahkan akhiran “r/er” untuk adjective yang terdiri dari satu dan dua syllable (dua suku ucapan), dan menambahkan”more” di awal sebelum pennulisan kata sifat untuk adjective yang terdiri dari tiga syllable atau lebih.

2. Superlative Adjectives

Superlative adjectives yaitu kata sifat yang dipakai untuk memperlihatkan manakah satu dari sekelompok kata benda yang “paling”. Misalnya manakah yang paling baik, paling buruk, paling anggun, paling cepat, dan lain-lain. Bentuk dari superlative adjective ialah dengan menambahkan akhiran “st/est” untuk adjective yang terdiri dari satu dan dua syllable (dua suku ucapan), dan menambahkan”the most” di awal sebelum penulisan kata sifat untuk adjective yang terdiri dari tiga syllable atau lebih.

3. Pembentukan Comparative dan Superlative Adjective
